Pac-Man CV Template: Points and Slots You Collect

Guide to the Pac-Man CV template: dots as skills, ghosts as experiences, power pellets as certifications, and how chase mode works.

This template builds your CV as a maze: your skills are dots in the corridors, your experiences are four ghosts each carrying a name and a profile, and your certifications are power pellets that switch on a five-second chase mode when clicked. The screen shows a computed high score and three lives. It suits customer service, support and repetitive work, where output is measured by volume handled.

The steps

  1. Open the template and choose "Use this template" to reach the editor
  2. Fill in name, job title and city on the player card
  3. Enter your skills; the maze shows up to twenty dots in a grid
  4. Enter four experiences; each becomes a ghost carrying a company and a title
  5. Set certifications as power pellets, then export or publish the CV

Practical tips

  • The high score is computed from your skills and experiences, so don't try to type a figure
  • Chase mode lasts five seconds and then stops; it is a demonstration effect, not a permanent state, so trigger it when you want attention
  • The four ghost names are fixed, but the name and title inside each ghost come from your experiences

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Entering more than twenty skills; the maze is fixed and hides the surplus
  • Entering fewer than four experiences, which leaves ghosts with no data and the profile incomplete

Frequently asked questions

Is the screen always black?

Yes. The black maze is the theme's identity. Make sure your white text stays crisp, and avoid printing it on ordinary paper, which is ink-heavy.

What is the co-op section for?

It is the references section under its themed name. Fill it in — it is what turns the maze from a game into a credible dossier.
