How to Use the Readability Analyzer

A recruiter gives a CV a few seconds before deciding whether to keep reading. This analyzer measures what decides those seconds: total word count, estimated reading time, heading clarity, use of bullets, and whether the reverse-chronological order is obvious.

The steps

1. Open the tool and read the criteria it measures
2. Tick the ones that describe your current CV
3. Attack the first failing criterion — usually length or headings
4. Break long paragraphs into short bullets that each open with a verb
5. Re-measure after every edit until the core criteria pass
